Review

As a site devoted to figures we don't usually include this sort of kit, but as it is part of the HaT figure range it is here simply for completeness.

After lengthy trials the Skoda 7.5cm Mountain Gun entered service with the Austro-Hungarian army in April 1915, and proved to be a very good weapon. Germany also used numbers of this gun, but in a general infantry-support role rather than specifically as a mountain gun. This kit is made in a hard plastic, as all such kits should be, so it is precisely engineered and fits together very well. Unfortunately the single exploded view on the box does not adequately explain how the model is assembled, in particular the nature of the shield struts, so we found we had to refer to photos of the gun on the internet to provide the necessary missing information. Having done that however we were left with a really nice little model that is not much simplified and should look good on any tabletop.
