Esci Battlesets

Esci made two series that might be described as 'battlesets'. The first was the 'Diorama' series, and made use of existing kits and (usually) hard-plastic kit figures, while the second 'Historic Battles' series was essentially the combining of several sets of soft-plastic figure sets plus a base. A handful of the Historics series later made a reappearance in new packaging in the 1990s under the AMT/Ertl brand name.
