Having produced a number of sets of zombies, it makes some sense to make something that they can be faced with, hence this set, also called 'antizombies'. In many ways this is like the Rednecks set because you actually get a group of people in more or less normal modern clothing, their only distinction is that they all seem to be in combat with some sort of weapon. These are mostly ordinary people doing extraordinary things with firearms or whatever came to hand, but there are also some strange choices like the youth in the top row and the chef in the second, armed with frying pan and meat cleaver. That reviewer suggests most are based on the "Walking Dead" TV series, so if you are familiar with that then perhaps these make more sense - coming at them fresh, they just seem like a hugely random selection of figures.

The sculpting is pretty good, and there is only a modest amount of flash, but unless you are going to do a lot of converting, there is limited scope for using these figures in anything other than the intended scenario. Modern civilians with weapons certainly have some potential, although those with machetes or culinary tools might be harder to purpose. The poses are not generally flat, so whether you are looking to model the zombie apocalypse or something a bit less cataclysmic, these decent figures will certainly offer some interesting options.
